Does anyone know how to get a hold of victim's assistance for Glynn county?  My son was assaulted and his backpack stolen and all his epilepsy medicine ($1200) worth of PPA epilepsy medicine stolen along with his laptop. He was hit in the head with a hammer when his back was turned.

Any help on how to get in touch with them is really important because we can't afford to buy the medicine and we just got it (we get three months at once) and it is 400 bucks a month. Brunswick police did't even tell us about it, nor did the brunswick hosp. We found out when I had to take him back to the ER in Waycross.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

The State of Georgia has a program to assist victims with expenses related to a crime.  The program can help compensate victims for financial hardship, medical, and mental health counseling.

To be eligible, you must:

File an application within 1 year of the crime or two years with good cause shown.

Thanks. He is having nightmares and feels betrayed. A good lesson for any suburban kid trying to do rap music? I don't know. I think it is horrible, and what is worse is that Glynn won't do a thing. :(
